Fun Fact

About two years before his parents even met, Parrish had been named after the 1961Troy Donahue movie that also included many other accomplished actors such as Connie Stevens and Karl Malden. The film turned out to be Claudette Colbert’s last movie role after her long career. The film was based on the Reader’s Digest book of the month written by Mildred Savage. Many years later, Parrish was able to obtain a signed copy of the book after contacting her son who was a successful tax attorney in New York.
