Stephen Woomer, CPA / Partner
Stephen M. Woomer is a Partner and Member of Woomer Nistendirk Associates, PLLC, with over 40 years of public accounting experience.
Steve specializes in providing accounting, tax and consulting services to small to medium-sized businesses. Steve has serves business and individuals throughout West Virginia and neighboring states. He was formerly a Senior Manager with Simpson & Osborne, CPAs, located in Charleston, WV. His wide array of industry experience includes construction, manufacturing, coal extraction and coal loading. He also has experience with auto sales and repair, marketing and advertising, equipment wholesalers, and professional service providers. Some of the specific professional services he works with includes; medical and health care providers, law firms, oil and gas producers, real estate development companies, trusts and nonprofit organizations.
Steve has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Marshall University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the West Virginia Society of CPAs. He has served on several community boards including MATRIC, WV Jobs Investment Trust, United Way of Kanawha Valley, and the Charleston Festival Commission and was a Becker CPA Review course instructor for 20 years.
In his free time Steve enjoys working out and coaching CrossFit, playing golf and spending time at his townhouse in North Myrtle Beach with his wife and their dog.
